Marzia is a doctoral student in the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University, with a background in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, and Data Science, particularly in wireless networks. Shifting her research focus, she now explores how technology can positively impact people’s lives. Her current work centers on utilizing machine learning and AI to enhance accessibility for individuals with vision disabilities, aiming to improve their quality of life. Marzia is committed to promoting equality through technology, and her vision is to bring the perspectives of underrepresented individuals into research, ensuring that it is both for and by them.
