Minna Vigren is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the projects Securing things: Human Centred Internet of Things Security and Young people imagining media(ted) futures: developing a method for change. Her research interests include questions on human agency, infrastructuration, power, and resistance in the networked everyday. Minna’s dissertation Imaginaries of Agency in the Landscapes Code is an interdisciplinary research between the fields of media studies, science and technology studies, and critical software studies. It will be examined at Tampere University (Finland) in the spring 2020. She has previously worked in the project Digital Face at Aalto University (Finland). In the project, she studied people’s experiences of the softwarization of their everyday life and experimented with tools that could enable reflexivity on the role technology plays in daily life. She is part of the editorial board of a Finnish media studies journal Media & Viestintä and secretary of Finnish Society for Science and Technology Studies.
