Sara is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University. Her research interests include bodily and material practices around the design of and interaction with physical robots and autonomous technologies. She has a background as an interaction designer and dancer. Her previous research resides in the intersection of HCI and performance arts, studying the creative process of crafting and choreographing drones for the opera stage to understand how moving with drones shape bodily experiences, movements and expressions. Before joining STIR, Sara worked as a researcher in the Interaction Design Research team at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, as part of the projects Engineering the Interconnected Society and De-Pilot. Sara holds an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction with a double degree from Université Paris-Saclay and KTH.
